Trinity's Integrated Skills in English is a four skills qualification assessing students' ability to interact in English through the use of integrated reading and writing tasks and integrated speaking and listening tasks. Trinity's Graded Examinations in Spoken English are one-to-one, face-to-face assessments of speaking and listening skills. It is now widely used by publishers and test developers. The Common European Framework of Reference is a guideline used to describe the linguistic competence of learners of foreign languages across Europe and, increasingly, in other countries.
